Beef cross calves sold higher with top of 920 and majority of calves over 80 lbs selling from 820 to 880. Holstein bull calves were steady with a top of 650 and the main run 540 to 610.
Choice and prime Holstein strs 1.72 to 1.77. Beef cross steers up to 1.82.
Beef feeder steers and heifers weighing 400 to 500 lbs 2.10 to 2.70. Most of what we had was short weaned and not vaccinated. Vaccinated and weaned calves are selling at a huge premium this fall!
Market cows topped at 1.22 with most cows selling 1.04 to 1.09. Poor quality cows .90 and down.
Boer Billy goats 80 lbs. at 200 per head. Butcher hogs 67 to 71. Sows 57 to 65. Boars 18.
