Holstein springing heifers 2350 to 2850.Jersey springers 2000 to 2200. Open heifers 1.90 to 2.40cwt.
Light test on fdr cattle. 4 blk strs 349 @ 3.80.5 blk strs 450 @ 310.
Choice dairy fed cattle 1.60 to 1.66 on minimal test. Beef cross calves 740 to 820. Holstein bull calves 485 to 560.
Market cows sharply lower. Top 1.21 with bulk of cows selling 1.00 to 1.16.
Hay sold steady to lower. 3×4 grass/alfalfa 120 to 160 per bale. Rounds 2nd crop gras/alfalfa 65. 1st crop rds grass 35. Poor quality 5 to 10.
