Market Report for July 1st (Thorp)

Beef calves steady to stronger.Beef cross bull and heifer calves 830 to 930.Top 950.Holstein bull calves mostly 580 to 700.Several top calves 710 to 740.

Fed cattle stronger.All prices are on cattle brought in day of sale. Top was 2 blk strs 1412 @ 194.50 from Galen Zimmerman, Thorp. 54 head beef and beef cross 1.90 to 194.50

68 head 1.88 to 189.50.
69 head 1.85 to 187.50.                                                                                                                                          86 Head 1.80 to 184.50 Including top 17 Holstein strs from Dennis Martin,Thorp.

70Holstein strs 172 to 179.50.

Unfinished and old cattle selling at less then quoted prices.Market cows mostly 1.17to 1.38.Fed cows 1.41 to 1.45.
