Dairy cattle market steady with last week. Market cattle, feeder cattle, and calves steady to stronger. Top dairy cows 2125, 2100 Ezra Kanagy, Belmont. 2100 Jason Brubaker, Thorp. 2000 Matt Fabian, Greenwood. 2000 Brian Ulrich, Spencer. 2000 Jason Danhoff, Waukon IA.

Springing Holstein heifers 1400- 1850. Opens 1.10- 1.35NT. Single birth Holstein heifer calves 35-85. 3 week old Line back and Guernsey heifer calves 550-750.

Breeding bulls 1025-1925. Market bulls up to 1.16.

We sold 90 fat cattle this week. Choice Holstein steers 154-162. Cross breds up to 1.71. Holstein feeder steers 1.30- 1.75. 5 Hol strs 725 lbs @ 1.75. Beef cross feeders 1.40- 2.70. 10 Angus cross strs 452 lbs @ 212.50. Holstein bull calves mostly 185- 340.

Butcher hogs 76-83.

22 fall calving cows sold 1100-1700.

Sold 216 market cows this week with 39% selling 1.00- 1.24. 2 individual Holsteins @ 129 & 131. Organic cows 1.45- 1.60.

Large squares and rounds grass hay 40-75/bale. Small squares grass mix 2.00.
