Sold 178 dairy cows. Lower milk prices definitely are not helping dairy cow prices. Bulk of cows sold 1200- 1900. Top 2300, 2250 Bob Fitzsimmons, Darlington.

Springing Holstein heifers 1300-1925. Holstein opens 1.05-1.20. 80 started Jersey heifers 1.50-1.93. Single birth Holstein heifer calves 40-110.

Breeding bulls 875-1450. Market bulls 98-114.

Angus cow calf pairs 1175-1430 lbs, 1800-1950.

Choice Holstein steers 147-156. Cossbreds up to 159. Hol fdr strs up to 167. 8 Angus cross steers 543 lbs @ 2.18. 9 Fleckvieh steers 571 lbs @ 2.00. 6 blk hfrs 534 lbs @ 216.

Holstein bull calves mostly 135-250. Beef cross bull and heifer calves 320-465. Monday 400-575. Top 590 consigned by Brenda Zimmer, Owen.

97 market cows. 20% sold 1.00- 1.12. Top Wednesday night in Thorp 1970 lb Hol cow @ 1.17 consigned by Greg Thompson, Ridgeland. 50% sold 84-99. Only 4 cows under 60.

Sows 20-28. Butchers 45-58. Boars 7-10.

40-60 lb lambs 1.50- 1.85. Ewes 60-80.

Large rounds and squares high quality mixed grass in heavy bales 95- 110. Common grass 30- 50. 3x3x8 Alfalfa 80-95. 3x3x8 oat straw and bean stubble 20-30. Small squares straw 2.50.
