Amazing how two people can look at the exact same event and see a completely different happening.

Better dairy cows 1600- 2000. Top 2100 Marlin Weaver, Unity. Mid-grade Holstein springing heifers 900- 1250. Open Holstein heifers mostly 60- 80 cents/ lb. Single birth Holstein heifer calves 40- 85 per head.

Holstein breeding bulls 1000- 1250. Top 1125  lbs @ 1525 Kenneth Yoder, Spencer. Market bulls 71- 78.

Choice Holstein steers and heifers 85- 93.50. Holstein feeder steers 90- 1.05 NT. Holstein bull calves 45- 125. Beef cross bull and heifer calves 125- 185. Sold 90 market cows. 25% sold 52 to 56.50. 50% sold 41- 51.

Sold 35 lots hay, straw, and firewood. Alfalfa baleage 35- 70. Mixed grass second and third crop large squares and rounds 50 – $70/ bale. First crop grass $40. Small squares grass and alfalfa 3- $4. Large squares Canadian wheat straw 40- 45. Rounds corn stalks 20- 22.50. Bean stubble 12.50- 17.50. Spreader load of firewood $80.
